INPUT DESCRIPTION

1.1     Watershed/basin

This is the name of the watershed or basin.

2.1     Units

At present the model is only able to accept SI (metric) units. U.S. Customary units is under development.

2.2     Total simulation time

There are four options for total simulation time: 36, 48, 72 and 96 hours. The default is 36 hr. Use this value in the normal case, when the entire flood hydrograph has passed through the basin outlet after 36 hours. If necessary, the model can run up to 96 hr (4 days). Use this option in the case of significant runoff diffusion which spreads the flood hydrograph substantially in time.
2.3     NRCS 24-hr rainfall type
There are four options for NRCS 24-hr rainfall type: I, IA, II, and III. The default is Type I (California). The most intense rainfall type is II (Central U.S.). The least intense in III (Pacific Northwest).
2.4     NRCS Antecedent moisture condition
There are three options for NRCS antecedent moisture condition (AMC): I, II, and III. The default is AMC II (average). Use AMC III when required to simulate wet conditions in the watershed or basin. Use AMC I when required to simulate dry conditions.
2.5     Output
There are two options for output: (1) At basin outlet only, and (2) At all reach outlets. The default is "At basin outlet only". Use the default selection when only the flood hydrograph at the basin outlet is desired. Use the other selection when it is desired to print and report the flood hydrographs at all reach outlets.

Thank you for running online_rainflo.
