Week 11:  Preliminary oral presentations (Tuesday 221101 17:30-18:45)

Week 16:  Final oral presentations (Tuesday 221206 and Thursday 221208, 17:30-18:45)

Week 16:  Project report due (Thursday 221208 17:30)

Week 17:  Final Exam (Tuesday, 221213 15:30-17:30)

OFFICE HOURS: The preferred way to reach Prof. Ponce is via the course email: ponce638.opal@gmail.com Three 20-minute virtual-meeting slots are available for consultation after every class (A: 19:00; B: 19:20; C: 19:40). These slots may be reserved up to 48 hours in advance.

GRADING POLICY: Homework Set (20%), Assignments Set (20%), Midterm (20%), Project (20%), Final (20%). A record of perfect attendance will earn a bonus of 1/3 letter grade (Example: B+ raised to A-).

ATTENDANCE POLICY: Virtual attendance to class is required. More than two unexcused absences will have a negative effect on your final grade.

TERM PROJECT: The project will consist of individual work on a topic selected from a suggested list, mutually agreed with the instructor. The report should be of professional quality; its length should not exceed 15 pages, including tables and figures. Text should be double-spaced. The required two oral presentations (preliminary and final) should use a professional presentation tool.

CHEATING AND PLAGIARISM: All work is to be done individually. Instances of cheating will be dealt with as stated in the current SDSU Catalog, University Policies: Cheating and Plagiarism.
