SOUTHWEST CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH AND POLICY Considering that Tecate Creek constitutes a significant natural capital, the government of the state supports and promotes the ecohydrological channelization which will allow urban development within the framework of sustainable development. Considering the above mentioned, we are pleased to approve and support the project entitled "Hydrology and hydraulics for the Tecate Creek corridor restoration," presented by Dr. Victor M. Ponce to the Southwest Center for Environmental Research and Policy, given its recognized expertise and knowledge of the region.
