It is a pleasure to provide a letter of recommendation for Mr. ROBERTO BARRAGAN who is applying for a scholarship awarded by the Structural Engineers Association of San Diego.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Roberto while he was pursuing his undergraduate civil engineering studies at San Diego State University. He took one upper division courses with me: CIV E 530 Open-channel Hydraulics. Roberto performed very well, coming near the top of the class.

I sincerely think it would be difficult to find someone who has more commitment than Roberto. I am confident that he will do very well in his chosen field of specialization.
