The following is a summary of the committee's comments. The Committee feels that your students evaluations are very good. However, some students feel that the exams are too long, and that you should be more consistent with your office hours. Please pay attention to these issues, since they are likely help you improve your evaluations in the future. The Committee urges you to review the student evaluations carefully. While some students say that you communicate the subject clearly (CIV E 642), others criticize your apparently excessive use of Power Point (CIV E 444). A sample will suffice here: "This professor should not be allowed to teach this class anymore." "I did learn anything from Hemati." Yet, some say "really good professor." The Committee feels that the mixed reviews are an indication of latent problems with your teaching style, organization, or approach.
