CCEE DEPARTMENT FINANCE COMMITEE

Decisions taken on the May 4, 2010 meeting

  1. All lab directors should submit a detailed annual maintenance budget (supplies and minor equipment replacement) by the beginning of the Fall 2010 semester (retreat day).

  2. An expenditure in supplies or replacement of minor equipment of $500 or less may be authorized by the Chair without explicit approval of the Finance Committee. The Chair shall report any such expenditures to the Finance Committee in a timely manner.

  3. Requests for funding will be subject to the following priority: (1) courses directly generating lab fees, and (2) all other courses.

  4. Funding requests must follow the established format. Requests not following the format will not be considered.
