OVERALL COMMENTS:

  1. This class is a senior elective. The number of students is relatively small, due to four offerings per year (Fall, Spring, and Summer, and SDSU Panama). This favors better communication with the students, which may enhance the learning experience.

  2. The teaching in lecture/lab mode over the past four semesters has enhanced understanding of the material.

  3. Using the online videos, students are able to review the lecture before and/or after the class. Understanding of the material has tended to increase in the past five semesters of record.
