HOW TO DROP VIDEO INTO FCP [120821] • Place video card in transfer box • Connect tranbsfer box to gon usb port in back • Using terminal window, type cd Video_Visualab and return • Using terminal window, type mkdir terracotta [Example] and return • Open FCP by one click on icon • Go to Systems Setting; set to terracotta [Example] four times; click ok at the end • Close project if open • Click on New Project • Save project as terracotta_1205281030 [Example] in folder Videos_Visualab terracota [Example] • Pull down File Menu and open Log and Transfer; wait about one minute • Select the first clip; click Shift and select the last clip; add selection to queue • When finished, close log and transfer window. • Proceed to edit FCP
