En la escarpada ladera
del mítico El Alumbral,
desde tiempo inmemorial
está tu efigie señera;
misteriosa mensajera
del pueblo que la esculpió
y que herencia nos dejó
que tu lóbrego graznido
es de la muerte el gemido
que anuncia que ya llegó.
