Dear Dr. Kumar:

I am pleased to offer you an appointment as a post-doctoral research associate with the San Diego State University Foundation. The appointment is a period of nine (9) months, starting on or about June 1, 2004, and extending through February 28.

You will be paid a stipend amounting to approximately $1750 per month, for a total not to exceed $16,000 for the nine-month period.

Your duties will be to work in the SDSU Visualab, and assist me in relation to the SCERP-funded research project on the hydrology of the Tecate watershed. The assignment will comprise catchment modeling, surface water modeling, groundwater modeling, and GIS applications in hydrology.
