I am writing this letter on behalf of FLOR PEREZ MARTINEZ, who is applying for a J-1 visa for the period January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2012.
Ms. PEREZ MARTINEZ holds a degree in Computer Engineering from her native country. I have offered her a research scholar position in my laboratory. She will assist me in the production of online videos for academic applications and contribute substantially to our ongoing webvideo development program. In particular, Ms. PEREZ MARTINEZ will be using Apple's Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite for video applications and computer graphics animation. The experience she will gain will significantly enhance her competitiveness and job choices when she returns to her native country.
Her salary will be $2000 per month for the duration of her stay in San Diego.
